The central area of ancient tombs is in today's Fangxian County, Hubei Province, which was once the county of Qin, Sui, Tang and Ming. When the geographical area is the largest, it is equivalent to or slightly larger than the present northwest Hubei. Located at the eastern end of Daba Mountain, between Bashan Mountain and Qinling Mountain, between the Yangtze River and the Han River, it is also on the edge of two major mountains and two major water systems. Daba Mountain is east-west, starting from the Qingshan Mountains in Anima and reaching Fangling in the east. The Qinling Mountains and Daba Mountain start from the Qingshan Mountains in Anima together, and advance eastward parallel to it on the north side of Daba Mountain. The Yangtze River originated in Bayan Kara, rushed out of the Sichuan Basin along the foot of the southern slope of Shennongjia and headed for the East China Sea. The Hanjiang River originates from the northern slope of the western end of Daba Mountain, and one sixth of the reach is in the northwest of Hubei Province. Fangling is located in such an area surrounded by two mountains and two waters. It is a strange area in the county annals that "there are four mountains and four blockages, so we can't be poor in history and detailed in shape".
