Haining Nanguan car is on 1985. After the founding of New China, most of the buildings in Nanguan Lane were owned by the public, which were residential buildings. 1985, Haining compiled the first round of urban master plan, and Nanguanxiang block was preserved as a historical section. 1989, Nanguan Lane was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Haining. In 2004, he began to plan the protection and repair of the whole street. In June 2006, it was announced as a provincial historical and cultural protection zone in Zhejiang. In 2008, a comprehensive transformation was carried out. On 20 13, Haining Jiangnan Lantern Art Street Management Committee was established to upgrade Huiyuan Bridge. The street is tentatively scheduled to open for the Mid-Autumn Festival in 20 14 and the Lantern Festival in 20 15.
