Brief introduction of Fort Hu Lishan
Hu Lishan Fort is located at No.2 Zeng Cuo An Village Village, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province.

Founded in the 20th year of Guangxu (1894) and completed in the 22nd year of Guangxu (1896), it covers an area of13000m2. Fort Hu Lishan is surrounded by mountains and faces the sea. From south to north, it is divided into war zone, barracks zone and back mountain zone. It has two main guns and two protective guns. Auxiliary facilities include war room, ammunition supply room, back channels, ammunition depots, trenches, official halls, barracks, watchtowers, ammunition depots, city walls, observation posts and shooting ranges.

Fort Hu Lishan is a well-preserved coastal defense fortress, and it is also an important historical site for studying China's coastal defense military history, westernization movement history and ordnance construction technology. 1996165438+1October 20th, Hu Lishan Fort was announced by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the State Council as the fourth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Take bus No.29 (or 2 1, 86, 96, B 1 1, M30) in Xiamen, get off at Hu Lishan bus station and walk about 205 meters to Hu Lishan battery.

1, Jimei direction: from Jimei to provincial highway S206, drive 2.9 kilometers along provincial highway S206, go straight into Jiahe Road, drive 900 meters along the ramp, enter Chenggong Avenue and Yanwu Bridge, and arrive at Hu Lishan Fort.

2. Haicang direction: From Haicang to Xiamen Island, pass through Dudong Road and Hubin West Road, enter Lujiang Road, drive along Lujiang Road for 6. 1 km, cross the boardwalk around the island on the right, go straight into Huandao South Road, and arrive at Hu Lishan Battery.
