(1) is located outside Xuanwu Gate in Beiping. Also known as the People's Temple. In the 18th year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (644), Emperor Taizong failed to levy Korea in Liaodong, and lost to Anshi the following year. He buried the remains of soldiers in Liucheng, Yingzhou, and built a temple in Youzhou to hang their spirits. Wuhou Temple was built in the first year of Long Live (696), when it was named Benjamin Zhong Temple. During the Anshi Rebellion, it was renamed Shuntian Temple. In the second year of Ming Dynasty (1437), the temple was renovated and renamed Chongfu Temple. In the 12th year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty (1734), it was renamed Fayuan Temple, and it was naturally taught. There are Daxiong Hall, Tan Jie, Infinite Hall, Dakeng Hall, Sutra Pavilion, Loyalty Tower and East West Tower in the temple. There are many Liao and Jin monuments in the temple, as well as two Ming and Tibetan monuments. Fayuan Temple is a famous temple in history. Song Qinzong was captured and imprisoned in this temple. In the 13th year of Jin Dading (1 173), this hall was used as the examination room for Jurchen Jinshi. Xie Fangde, Minister of the Song Dynasty, was also held here.
