Brief introduction of Liyuan township
Liyuan Township is a typical township along the Huangtan River, located 45 kilometers southeast of Puyang County, with the Yellow River in the east and Heze across the river, the fourth oil production plant of Zhongyuan Oilfield in the west, Xicheng Town and xu zhen in the south and Baigang Township in the north. It is said that during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, there was a famine in the Central Plains. Some people moved in from Hongdong County, Shanxi Province and lived next to the pear garden, which has been called the pear garden until now. The township covers an area of 67 square kilometers, governs 5 1 administrative village (66 natural villages), with a population of 47,000 and cultivated land of 48,000 mu. Among them, the beach area, cultivated land and population account for two-thirds of the township.
