Introduction to Yongding Earth Building:

Yongding tulou, also known as tongzilou. Yongding County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, located in the southeast coast of China, is a unique magical mountain residential building in the world and a wonderful flower of ancient architecture in China. As a proud architectural form of Fujian Hakka, Tulou is a microcosm of the combination of "heaven, earth and people" and humanistic factors. The living custom of dozens of households and hundreds of people on the first floor embodies the family tradition of Hakkas living in groups, unity and harmony.

Introduction to the history of Yongding Tulou;

Yongding earth building has a history of 1200 years. It was built in 769 AD and is the oldest Hakka earth building in Fujian. Yongding tulou is the oldest one. Fuxin Building, located in xiazhai village, Lei Hu Town, is the earliest existing earth building in Fujian.
