Huang Ziyuan (1837- 19 18), a native of Longtang Township, Anhua County, Hunan Province, was a calligrapher and industrialist in the late Qing Dynasty.
Born in the 17th year of Daoguang (1837), he was brought up in his hometown in the 6th year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1867), and won the second place in palace examination the following year, and was awarded editing by imperial academy. He used to be the examiner of Shuntian Township Examination and the deputy examiner of Jiangnan Township Examination. He died in 7 years (19 18).
