Zhongyuan Hotel was built in 1953, formerly the second guest house in Anyang area. It is a state-owned four-star foreign-related hotel directly under the Anyang prefectural Committee and later placed under the Anyang Municipal Committee. Since the establishment of the museum, it has been undertaking the main conference and reception tasks in Anyang. Over the years, it has been the designated reception hotel and venue of Anyang Municipal People's Congress. The 50-year history has given the hotel a heavy historical atmosphere, and it has also experienced high-level service and good social reputation. Under the wave of market economy, as a state-owned hotel, Zhongyuan Hotel has accelerated its own quality improvement, and built a VIP building according to the four-star standard in 2002. In 2004, it was awarded the certificate of China four-star hotel by the National Tourist Star Hotel Evaluation Committee, and became the second four-star hotel in Anyang, which improved the overall reception level of Anyang and contributed to the development of tourism in Anyang.
