Historical Changes of Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang
The mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor was built in 208 BC. In 206 BC, Xiang Yu invaded Guanzhong and destroyed the imperial tombs and terracotta warriors and horses pits on a large scale. Since then, the mausoleum has been buried underground. 1974, the archaeological team of Shaanxi Province carried out exploration and trial excavation, and the terracotta warriors and horses came to light again. 1987, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang were included in the World Heritage List. In 2009, the third large-scale excavation of the first Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit in Qin Shihuang Mausoleum began.
1in July, 974, the archaeological excavation team entered the site of the Qin figurine pit to excavate and repair the No.1 pit. 1No.2 pit was accidentally discovered in April, 976, and1No.3 pit was discovered in May, 976. From 1976 to 1978, a variety of archaeologists, such as archaeology, protection, restoration and photography, were added, and 10 restoration teams carried out large-scale restoration of Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
