Wuchang is from Hubei Province.

Wuchang is one of the "Three Towns in Wuhan", located on the south bank of the Yangtze River, facing Hankou and Hanyang across the river. Locals are used to calling the city south of the Yangtze River in Wuhan Wuchang, including Wuchang District, Qingshan District and Hongshan District.

Wuchang is a famous historical and cultural city, which was founded in the Warring States Period 1800 years ago. It has a rich cultural and historical background. Now it is the seat of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and provincial government, and the political, cultural and information center of the whole province. More than 200 foreign institutions in Korea, many financial institutions, commercial enterprises and large companies have gathered here, forming the core area of Jiangnan in Wuhan.

Administrative divisions of Wuchang:

1949 The suburbs under the jurisdiction of Wujiang and Wutai Districts in Wuchangyuan were classified as the suburbs of Wuhan. 1960 February, Guanshan Street was established. In May, four administrative streets, including Nanwangshan, Hongshan, Guanshan and Luojiashan, were placed under Hongshan District, Baoan Sub-branch was renamed Ziyang Sub-branch, Jiefang Road Sub-branch was renamed Yellow Crane Tower Sub-branch, and Zhu Min Road Sub-branch was renamed Shuguang Sub-branch.

From 65438 to 0960, three agricultural communes, Qingling, Nanhu and Huashan, were placed under Wuchang District. 1963, 10 agricultural (fishing) cooperatives were placed in Hongshan District and Qingshan District respectively, and seven administrative streets belonging to Hongshan District, including Wu Luo Road, Fruit Lake, Yujiashan, Luojiashan, Zhongnan Road and Guanshan, were placed in Wuchang District. Gehua Street, located in the factory area of gedian Chemical Plant, was also handed over to Wuchang District. 1966, Baoan Street was changed to Wu Yao Street, Pan Qi Street to Liaoyuan Street, Wutaizha Street to Innovation Street, and Shizishan Street to Xuenong Street.
