3. Traffic conditions

Jingtang port is located in the network of Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan first-class economic zone, the center of Bohai economic circle and the national key open development area. Its geographical location is the nearest seaport connecting North China, Northeast China and Northwest China. Backed by 20 industrial cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Tang, Chengdu and Zhang, it occupies the traffic throat of North China and Northeast China. It can connect Beijing-Kowloon, Beijing-Shanghai and Beijing-Guangzhou traffic arteries, and can connect Beijing-Harbin, Jingcheng and Beijing-Baotou Eurasian Corridor.

Highways: 90km Tanggang Highway in Tanggang, 70km Luangang Highway in Tanggang and Bohai Rim Highway are connected with National Highway 205, 102 and 107. Expressway: The 80km-long Tanggang Expressway, Jintang Expressway and Beijing-Shenyang Expressway merge into an "X+O" expressway network in Tangshan, which greatly shortens the distance between Jingtang Port and Beijing, Tianjin and Northeast provinces and cities. It takes only two hours to drive from Jingtang Port to Beijing and Tianjin, which are 233 kilometers and 208 kilometers respectively.

Railway: Luangang Railway (Luanxian-Jingtang Port) with a total length of 77.3 kilometers and an annual transportation capacity of 65,438+200,000 tons is connected with the national railway trunk lines Jingshan Line and Beijing-Qinhuangdao Line.

Waterway: 669 nautical miles from Shanghai Port, 680 nautical miles from Hong Kong 1360, 680 nautical miles from Nagasaki Port of Japan and 400 nautical miles from Incheon Port of South Korea. Located in the center of the Bohai Economic Circle, it is an important part of the Great Beijing strategy and an important coastal port determined by the state.

4. Economic hinterland

The hinterland is vast, the supply is sufficient and the transportation is convenient. Tangshan, the direct economic hinterland, is an important base of energy and raw materials in China, and also an area rich in various agricultural and sideline products. It has formed ten pillar industries of coal, steel, electric power, building materials, machinery, chemicals, ceramics, textiles, papermaking and food, and is also a commodity distribution center and transportation artery connecting Northeast China and North China, with a large number of goods transported in and out every year. The hinterland of indirect economy can cover Hebei, Beijing, Shanxi, Ningxia, Inner Mongolia and Shaanxi.

Second, port development.

1, port history

Jingtang Port started construction in August, 1989. Provincial and municipal governments attach great importance to supporting the construction of Jingtang Port. Hebei Province has always listed Jingtang Port as a key project, and Tangshan City regards Jingtang Port as a "leading project" to revitalize the city with Hong Kong. After more than ten years of construction, two harbor basins, 1 No.2 and1.5-50,000-ton berths with miscellaneous, multipurpose, container, coal, cement and liquefied petroleum gas have been built, with a comprehensive capacity of more than 25 million tons and a maximum navigation capacity of 70,000 tons.

Since the operation of Jingtang Port 1992, especially after 1998, the development of the port has been on the fast track, and the throughput has been rising at a high speed of more than 20% for five consecutive years. In 200 1 year, the port throughput broke through the1100,000 tons mark in one fell swoop and entered the ranks of national 10 million-ton ports. In 2002, the transportation volume was 6.5438+0.465 million tons, ranking among the top 20 coastal ports in China for the first time, surpassing Jinzhou in Liaoning, Shantou in Guangdong, Maoming in Guangxi and Fangcheng. In 2003, the transportation volume exceeded 20 million tons, reaching 20.83 million tons, which was 24 percentage points higher than the national coastal ports and doubled compared with 200 1 two years. The goods cover more than ten categories and dozens of varieties such as coal, crude salt, grain, steel, ore, soda ash, cement and containers. The route reaches more than 90 ports at home and abroad, and has established business ties with ports in more than 30 countries and regions. Jingtang Port has developed into one of the important regional ports serving Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan, North China and Northwest China, and has become the most radiant and cohesive basic resource in Tangshan's existing economic resources.

On June 5438+ 10, 2003, Tangshan Port Investment Co., Ltd., as the main sponsor, jointly initiated the establishment of Jingtang Port Co., Ltd. with six shareholders, including Beijing Jingtai Investment Management Center, Mo Lifeng Yanshan Investment Management Center in Hebei Province, Tangshan Construction Investment Company, Hebei Construction Investment Company, SDIC Transportation Company and Guo Fu Investment Company, successfully completed the port system reform and made Jingtang Port bigger and stronger. Taking the success of restructuring as an opportunity, the company has continuously intensified its reform efforts while insisting on "development is the top priority", and achieved outstanding results in the construction of three civilizations, forming a harmonious, harmonious and strong development situation and winning the national "May 1 Labor Award".

2. Port planning

According to the overall layout, Jingtang Port is divided into Wangtan Port and Caofeidian Port. The coastline of Wangtan Port is 6 kilometers long and the water depth is steep. -10/0m isobath is only 4.8km from the shore. It is not frozen or silted, and the land area is vast. In the near future, the planned port area is 20 square kilometers, all of which are saline-alkali wasteland. The engineering geological conditions are good. Port construction land does not occupy fertile land and does not need to be demolished. There are more than 100 square kilometers of open and flat saline-alkali wasteland in the rear land area for development and utilization, which has the land advantage of developing export-oriented port-facing industries. At present,1.5-35,000-ton 12 deep-water berths, including container professional berths, have been built in the No.1 and No.2 harbors of Wangtan Port Area, with a designed annual throughput of nearly 10 million tons.

Caofeidian Port Area is located in the sea area of Luannan County, 70km south of Tangshan City, Caofeidian Island in Nanpu District, 30 nautical miles east of Jingtang Port, and the natural water depth in front of the island is 25-30m. After repeated investigation and demonstration by relevant experts, it is unanimously confirmed that it is the only natural fertile field in Bohai Bay that can build a deep-water berth of more than 200,000 tons without excavating navigation channels and harbor basins. There are 150 square kilometers of beaches in the rear land area for development and utilization. It has the conditions to build an industrial port with steel, petrochemical and other large-scale port-facing industries as the mainstay. At present, preliminary work is being carried out.
