Guangdong Junior Military Academy was established in April, 20001. It is a specialized institution approved by the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the provincial government to popularize national defense education for young people in the province. It is the only provincial-level youth self-protection education base and youth military (police) school model school in China, and is led by the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League.
