Guangdong Provincial Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine was formerly known as 1924 Guangdong College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, 1956 Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 1996 Medical History Museum. On 200 1, it was integrated into China Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine. (1998, the former Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine hosted the National Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine Herbarium, and the former Museum of Medical History hosted the Guangdong Academic Conference on Medical History in 2003). Guangdong Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established on July 4th, 2006.
