Tianxin village Shennong peak
Shennongfeng (formerly known as Mao Feng) is located in Huangmaolong Formation, Tianxin Village, Xiacun Town, with an altitude of 2 122.35 meters, which is the highest peak in Hunan. In 2000, Hunan Provincial Bureau of Surveying and Mapping found that the peak of Huang Mao Long Formation in Tianxin Village, Xiacun Town, Yanling County was 2 122.35 meters above sea level, which was 23.65 meters higher than that of Shimen County, the first peak in Hunan Province (2098.7 meters), and it was published in Hunan Daily in 2006, with an altitude of 5438+0. Shennong Peak (formerly known as Mao Feng) and Nanfeng, the first peak in Jiangxi, are sister peaks. The two peaks meet at 100 meters and echo each other, and the provincial boundary passes between them. In recent years, journalists and mountaineers in the province have climbed to the top many times, especially in 2006, more than 50 teachers and students from Hunan University of Science and Technology and nearly 4,380 tourists from all over the world climbed to the top, experiencing the pleasure of climbing to the top and setting off a summit upsurge. Xiacun town is rich in natural landscape, red culture, historical humanities and rural folk customs, especially in Shennongfeng area, where there are four seasons in one mountain and ten miles in different days, and the natural landscape can be called a spectacle. Wild fruits are fragrant in the four seasons on the mountain, wild flowers are in full bloom, flying springs and waterfalls are flowing, the jungle is dyed, and the ecological wonder-Millennium Bird Path passes by, which is a good place to experience summit tour, adventure tour, flower viewing tour, popular science tour, alpine leisure and farmhouse music.
