Anyang was originally named North Mongolia.

About14th century BC, Shang King Pan Geng moved to Yin, which is now Xiaotun Village in Anyang City, and established the most prosperous capital of China in the Bronze Age.

Anyang, referred to as Yin, Ye and Qi Dynasties for short, has a history of more than 3300 years and 500 years. It is one of the centers of early civilization in China, one of the eight ancient capitals in China, a famous historical and cultural city in China, an excellent tourist city in China, a national garden city and the capital of air sports in China. This is the hometown of Oracle Bone Inscriptions, the birthplace of Zhouyi, and the location of China Literature Museum, Hongqi Canal and Cao Gaoling.

Oracle Bone Inscriptions, the earliest written language used by China civilization, and the largest bronze ware Si Muwu Dafang Ding in the world have been unearthed here.

The Yin Ruins in Anyang are recognized by the world as the earliest ruins of the capital that can be determined in China today, and have the reputation of "Imperial Capital of Huanshui", "Old Capital of Yin Merchants" and "Capital of People".
