What does FTSE Russell mean?
The FTSE Russell concept is the Russell index, which is the weighted average of the total market capital founded by FrankRussell and published by FrankRussell, Washington. Russell index mainly includes Russell 3000 index, Russell 1000 index and Russell 2000 index. Russell index type:

1, Russell3000Index: an index containing the stocks of the 3000 largest companies in the United States, compiled by the weighted average method.

2. Russell 1000 index: It is formed by the weighted average of the stocks of the top 1000 companies with the largest market value in the Russell 3000 index. This index contains about 92% of the total market value of companies in the Russell 3000 Index, with a value of about 1, 2 1 billion dollars.

3.Russell 3000 Index: FrankRussell Company was founded in 1972, with 2,000 constituent stocks, which is the 2,000 stocks with the smallest market value in Russell 3000 Index. This index contains about 1 1% of the total market value of the Russell 3000 index.
