Where was the water in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period?
Heishui country is located in the west of Zhangye City, Gansu Province 10 km, and the Heihe River flows quietly. Historically, the Huns moved here, and established the national capital which was designated as "the country of abortion". Locals call it "Laoganzhou" or "Blackwater Country". Heishui country is named after Heihe, and it also rises and falls because of Heihe.

Dating back to Yang Di 700 years ago, that is, the era of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, Xiongnu often invaded the Central Plains. Therefore, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty sent General Huo Qubing out of Longxi to build Zhangye County to resist the invasion of Xiongnu in wartime and develop trade between the East and the West in peacetime. In particular, the opening of the Silk Road made Zhangye develop into the center of political, economic, cultural and diplomatic activities of dynasties in the northwest. Zhang Qian, Ban Chao, Faxian, Xuanzang and others just set foot on this land and went to a strange country, opening one window after another to spread civilization for the Central Plains. Businessmen, scholars and monks in the western regions also "carry the burden and I will lead the horse", flying Dai Yue on the Silk Road, bringing exotic material culture and spiritual culture to our ancestors.

Heishuiguo site is 0/2km away from Zhangye/Kloc-0, which is older than Zhangye. According to legend, before the Western Han Dynasty, Xiongnu once made the country its capital here. The local people called the Huns "Black Hungary", so they were called "Black Water Country". According to folklore, a long time ago, Heishui was an endless swamp lake. With the passage of time, the lake gradually dried up and became a plain with abundant water plants. Later, a nation named Yue moved here, settled in animal husbandry, reclaimed land to build a city, and established its capital. Because it is close to Blackwater, it is named Blackwater Country.

Legend belongs to legend. Before the Han Dynasty, Hexi Corridor was stationed for Xiongnu or Yueshi, and there was nothing wrong with it. Around the site of Heishui State, there are more than 300 tombs from Han Dynasty to Wei and Jin Dynasties. In recent years, more than 65,438+000 precious cultural relics have been unearthed, including beautifully made bronze mirrors and crossbows, as well as beautifully shaped bronze horses, woodwork and pottery with different shapes. These objects prove that Blackwater is not a poet's fiction. At that time, its rich products greatly envied the company commander, and fur, glass and jade all became the items they tried to buy.
