The relationship between history and bamboo water, bamboo village and bamboo yarn
According to legend, at the end of the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a bamboo (zh) Luoshan in the south of Zhuji, the ancient capital of Yue. The mountains are not high or steep, and the forests are dense and beautiful. At the foot of Zhuluo Mountain, there is a clear and small Ruoye River from north to south. If the leaf stream twists and turns, the stream is clear and slow, and the gurgling sound is good. The gurgling sound is like a bird whispering, like a lover whispering. At the foot of Zhuluo Mountain, by the Ruoye River, there is a small village with hundreds of families surrounded by green trees. Because the village is at the foot of Zhuluo Mountain, it is called Zhuluo Village (now Nanhuangsha Village in Zhuji). This river divides the village into east and west, and a man named Shi lives in both villages. The legendary stone was born in Zhuzexi village.

Shi's original name is Shi, and everyone in the village is Shi. Shi surnamed Shi Yiguang. Because she lives in Zhuzexi Village, people in the village call her Shi. Over time, few people know her real name.

Shi's family is relatively poor. Shi's father went up the mountain to cut wood for a living, and Shi's mother washed clothes for others. At that time, clothes were all silk, and Shi's mother made a living by washing clothes.

Xiaoshi also had some companions when he was very young.

Her best companion is Zheng Dan. Don't underestimate Zheng Dan, she is considered as the fifth most beautiful woman in China. She lives in the same village as Shi. They are very good partners. They often wash clothes together, play together and have a good time. Two people often compare beauty with each other, and as a result, people say that beauty lies in beauty.

How beautiful is history? She washes gauze by the river. The clear river reflects her delicate figure and makes her look more beautiful. She is still humming a traditional Yueguo ditty. The fish looked: Hey, whose girl is this? How beautiful! As a result, the fish forgot to breathe and swim and gradually sank to the bottom of the river. Since then, the story of Shi's "sinking fish" has spread like wildfire. "Sinking fish and falling wild goose" and "closing the moon and feeling ashamed of flowers" refer to the four beauties, namely, Shi Sinking fish, Zhao Jun falling wild goose and The Story Of Diu Sim closing the moon and feeling ashamed of flowers.

Walking through the long mist with a wisp of gauze. Catch a stream and wash away the dust of history. Your face is stunned by the fish in the water. At a glance, the king is madly in love with you. Without you, the world would be less beautiful. Without you, the story of Wuyue is no longer legendary.

Poem Xi by Li Bai, a great poet in Tang Dynasty;

"Xi Shi Yuexi female, from Zhuluoshan. Her charm has been passed down to this day, and Lotus sees her shyness. She moved the green water in the stream near Bianxi, as leisurely as clear water. It is rare to see her smile and show her white teeth, because she is reflected in a weak voice. Gou Jian, the King of Yue, collected national colors and raised eyebrows at the history of Wu. She was loved by the king of Wu and placed in the palace of the Children's Palace. Once the kingdom of Fuxi is broken, Qian Qiu will not return it. "

It seems that Zhuluoshan is the hometown of stone. And this Molo Mountain, where is it? There are two places in Zhejiang that say Xi Stone belongs to them. One is Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province; The other is Zhuji, a county-level city below Shaoxing, Zhejiang, saying that Shi is from Shaoxing.

Zhuluoshan is two miles away from Zhuji County, and is located near the river, also known as Huanshaxi. There is a stone about 20 feet square by the river, which is the famous "Huansha Stone". According to legend, Shi was here, but I happened to meet Shi here. Wang Xizhi, who was worried about the country and hurt the country in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, traveled to Muluo at dusk one day, only to see that the red sun was setting in the west and the sun was setting. The river was free to wash the yarn stone, and the sunset did not take care of the yarn washer. He could not help but face the historical sites and was moved by the scenery. I deeply feel that he was ordered by the crisis. He promised his country, but he didn't know what to do after retirement. Facing the cliff above the Huansha stone, he wrote down the word "Huansha" that has been passed down through the ages.

It is said that as long as the stone washes the yarn, the stone will automatically rise and fall, the water will sink and the water depth will float. Stone washing is labor-saving and just right. The washed yarn is white, soft, bright, elastic and has a special fragrance. So, what kind of "story" is Xi Shi Huan?

One said it was cotton yarn, another said it was silkworm yarn, one said that "yarn" should be "sand", and the last one said it was ramie.

Cotton is an exotic product, which was first introduced to China through Central Asia after Zhang Qian's voyage to the Western Ocean in the Western Han Dynasty. It is impossible to wash cotton yarn in the Spring and Autumn Period. "Huan" means washing Silk is bright and white, so it doesn't need washing. "Yarn" and "sand" are the same meaning, and "Huansha" means "Huansha", which is explained in ancient books. Obviously, only washing ramie is the most reasonable statement.

Zhuluo Mountain in Zhuji belongs to Jinhua Mountain System. It is a perennial herb called ramie, which is the raw material of Huansha. Ramie stems are soft and shiny, and stem bark (fiber) can be used for weaving or netting. People in Zhuji plant ramie and spun yarn, which have been passed down from generation to generation, forming a unique process: stripping stems, rotting, drying in the sun, bleaching and washing until ramie becomes yarn and white as silk. "Bamboo cloth is the best in Zhuji, and it is said that stone is a legacy." When the State of Wu defeated the State of Yue, it paid tribute to the State of Yue every year, and muslin was one of the main tributes.
