Sujiatun Station Period

The history of Sujiatun Railway Station began at 1903 (the 29th year of Guangxu). After the Harbin-Dalian railway built by Russia was opened to traffic, railway stations were set up in Sujiatun and Shahe (now Linshengbao). It is called "Nanman Branch Line of Dong Qing Railway".

1905, Russian troops set fire to Sujiatun Railway Station. In August of that year, Japan built the Anfeng Railway from Anton (Dandong) to Shenyang on the grounds of military needs. The following year, Japan took over the Nanman Railway from Changchun to Dalian and its affiliated places along the line, formally established Nanman Railway Co., Ltd., and seized the area near Sujiatun Railway Station as the "railway affiliated place".

1944 and 1945, American planes bombed Sujiatun Railway Station twice, forcing the Japanese to surrender.

Shenyang south railway station period

With the development and changes of the city, the original railway station became more and more dilapidated, so the original railway station built by Japan and Russia was demolished on 1998, and the new railway station was officially put into use on February 25 of that year. At the same time, Sujiatun Railway Station was renamed Shenyang South Railway Station.
