Pang has four sources:

3, Xiangyang Ponzi, according to legend, its family is rich, so it is a high house, and the township party is proud of it, called Pang Gaowu, later named Pang.

4. Change the surname from his home or his home. According to Hanshu? According to Wang Mangchuan, there was Pang Tian among Qiang people in the Western Han Dynasty. Reproduction and migration

During the Three Kingdoms period, Pang Degong's nephew Pang Tong came to Shu, and Pound, a native of Didao, Nan 'an (now Longxi, Gansu), came to Shu from his brother Pang Rou. Fufeng (now Fengxiang, Shaanxi), Jiuquan Biao (now Gaotaixi, Gansu), Panggan. It can be seen that Ponzi has moved to Sichuan and Gansu. During the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, Pang developed rapidly and gradually formed Nan 'an County, Nanyang County, Shiping County and Qiaoxian County. During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, the above-mentioned counties and counties of Pang surname still flourished, and spread to surrounding areas as the main source, such as Yulin and Jingyang in Shaanxi, Taiyuan, Daixian and Taigu in Shanxi, Heze in Shandong, Xuzhou in Jiangsu and Shouxian in Anhui. A Pang surname moved to Quanzhou, Zhejiang. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, due to the proliferation of swordsmen in the Central Plains, more and more people fled to the south, and Ponzi was more widely distributed in the south. One of them moved to Beiliu, Guangxi, and later developed into a noble family in the local area. In the early Ming Dynasty, Shanxi Ponzi, as one of the surnames of the Ming Dynasty pagoda tree settlers in Hongdong, was moved to Henan, Jiangsu, Hubei, Shandong, Hebei and other places. In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, Zhang Tuchuan was a native and fled to Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. Soon, Huguang occupied Sichuan, making Pang Juchuan from Hubei and Hunan. After the Qianlong period, some Ponzi people from Shandong went to the northeast, while some Ponzi people from East China and South China crossed the sea to Taiwan Province and then spread abroad. Today, Ponzi is widely distributed in China, especially in Shandong and Guangxi. Ponzi accounts for about 42% of the Han population in China.
