In a blink of an eye, Yuanmingyuan became blue-gray and Cai Hua in Dunhuang faded. A thousand years is just a drop in the ocean. The dust of history has turned over, leaving only vicissitudes. However, for China people, history must not leave traces. The rise and fall of honor and disgrace witnessed by those relics is the deepest warning to us.

Please respect historical sites!

I stood in front of the ruins of Yuanmingyuan, and the wind blew my face and shook my heart. Yuanmingyuan, a luxurious and arrogant palace and a treasure of human beings, is now in ruins, with gray columns standing in the blue sky, like an old man's sad and sparse white hair. I thought of Qianlong, the emperor who opened China's backward fate without knowing it. He looked down on the advanced technology of the west, which caused the sorrow of the country in the later period. Yuanmingyuan is a history as well as a history of shame. It always reminds children in China to work hard and not to be self-righteous. However, that day, there was a scene that shocked me: a group of middle school students, drinking coke and wearing headphones, were playing in front of the water law. Some even took out their knives and carved "×××× come here for a visit ..." on that sad stone pillar. They waved their sleeves, leaving behind a pile of potato chip packaging bags and beverage cans, laughing at the sadness of the past with the cold wind.

Yuanmingyuan, a historical relic, will be an eternal alarm. This is painful and even more worrying. Doesn't it deserve our awe and respect? Please respect historical sites and painful past to create a proud tomorrow.

Not long ago, I went to Dunhuang. Unexpectedly, in just a few years, the Mogao grottoes have become unbearable for tourists to set foot on. The tour guide said that because tourists littered and there were too many tourists, the murals in the Mogao Grottoes were seriously oxidized and could not be destroyed any more. Only by going to the photo studio can we see the old color photos. Looking at the majestic flying Buddha statue, I can't help but burst into tears: can people be numb when they look at all this in awe? Do you have the heart to destroy it? Dunhuang, a Buddhist resort excavated from yellow sand for thousands of years, is a golden treasure in the vast loess. How can it not be heartbreaking to be treated like this? Back in those days, that ignorant Taoist sold a lot of precious documents cheaply. In order to make up for this vacancy, scholars in China have been guarding and searching hard for decades, and have paid hardships and wisdom for China's Millennium civilization, leaving precious spiritual wealth for future generations. However, it has not recovered its former glory. It has been destroyed into a pure shell and remains here, which is regrettable.

Dunhuang, a historical relic, an eternal shining treasure and a symbol of human civilization, isn't it worthy of our awe and respect? Please respect historical sites and splendid culture, so that China culture has a long history.

Respect for monuments means respect for history. There is still a long way to go in Xiu Yuan.
