After the founding of New China, 1953 abolished Lanling County, and Lanling merged into Cangshan County, becoming sixteen districts. 1957 change district into township. 1959 was changed to People's Commune, and 1984 was the location of Lanling Town. Lanling has a long history, splendid culture and many celebrities, among which Xunzi is the most famous. Xunzi, revered as Qing, was a thinker and educator in the Warring States period. His scholarship originated from Confucianism and made some innovations. Han Fei, a representative figure of Legalism, and Li Si, the prime minister of the founding of Qin Dynasty, worked for "Wei" and "learned the skills of emperors" from it. Liu Xiang, a scholar in the Han Dynasty, "Lan Ling learned from many good things to cover it." In the development history of Lanling culture, Xunzi was indeed the first to open the atmosphere. Han Xing respected Confucianism, and virtuous doctors made progress from time to time. However, Lanling in the East China Sea is famous for its literature. Famous scholars include, Xiao, Xiao and others. After Meng Qing granted Yong people, he looked pale, while Lanling was sparsely populated. When Emperor Han proclaimed the Emperor in the Spring and Autumn Annals, Dawning was named Prince Taifu, and his nephew was regarded as a young fu. He retired from his hometown and distributed his life savings to his neighbors. Xiao, the grandson of Xiao He VI, was famous for his money. When he proclaimed himself emperor, he worked as a great scholar, a royal counselor, a prince teacher, a former general and an upright official. Later, he was framed by eunuchs and forced to commit suicide. Its tomb is in Xiaozhong Village (now Xiaozhong Village) in Lanling Town. According to legend, lanling wine is Xiao's home brew, and it is a Lanling brewing industry developed on the basis of the brewing method introduced by Xiao. Li Bai, a famous poet, made the following praise in "Visiting China": "lanling wine tulips, jade bowls filled with amber light. But the master is drunk and doesn't know where he is. " Gao Changgong (also known as Su) was a famous general of the Northern Qi Dynasty in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and his name was Lan Ling. In the Modern History of Lanling, Dian, as a pioneer of the New Culture Movement, published seven novels, such as Under the Storm, Offhand, A Bullet, Liu Bin, Return, Plague and Several Letters Signed with S, in the Novel Monthly. Mao Dun is known as a literary comet. In addition, there are Cang Xie who created the writing and Qiu Ying who created the law. The authors are all Lanling people.
