Wangcun Town is a typical forest-tea economic mountain city with beautiful natural environment, beautiful scenery, convenient transportation and perfect infrastructure construction. Program-controlled telephones have been set up in 6 administrative villages and 22 villagers' groups. The coverage rate of cable TV is over 85%, and the information feedback is fast. All the villages in Wangcun Town are pure Huizhou folk houses with white walls and tiles. There is a strong ancient rhyme everywhere. Each family hall is decorated with plush chairs, square tables and couplets in the main hall. Many ancient dwellings left over from the Ming and Qing Dynasties have preserved a large number of wood carvings and various smart classical furniture. Walking into Wangcun and going deep into farmers, many old objects that are about to disappear can be seen everywhere. Rich cultural relics not only feast your eyes, but also edify you with traditional culture.

The clan culture of Wangcun has a long history. Ancestors have not forgotten their roots, and they are careful to pursue the future.

Shidetang in Yuanli Village was founded in the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 430 square meters, including a construction area of 300 square meters. There are three ancestral halls, engraved with patterns, with the scene of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" in the middle. A pair of couplets on both sides of the gate is: the founding of the country is far away, and it is a long time to return to Sichuan. The yellow characters on the red background are dazzling. There is a patio in the middle of the ancestral hall for lighting and ventilation. There are two pairs of "triumphant" moon beams on both sides of the patio, and the melon beam in the middle is "carp yue longmen", which is lifelike. In the early years, the ancestral temple was destroyed and built three times, and it was repaired four times in the past 40 years, and it has been well preserved so far.

Up to now, dozens of Zhang genealogies handed down from the Qing Qianlong period are still preserved in the village, which records the history of Zhang's prosperity.

In Guangde Hall in Zuoyuan Village, the four pillars in the upper hall are even more peculiar and rare: four pillars one foot square and more than two feet high are actually taken from a maple tree. According to the carpenter's calculation, the diameter of this maple tree was at least 1.5 meters. The unique structure means "one heart and one mind" and "all seasons are happy" ...

Simple folk customs keep the natural characteristics. Without the concerted efforts of the villagers, how can Shidetang, Guangdetang and Zhang's genealogy be preserved to this day? If people are distracted and cut down indiscriminately, there won't be so many trees on the mountain, and there won't be hundreds of exotic yews left. Wangcun is a mountainous area with trees everywhere, which is a good place for green tourism. The vast Jyukai is lush, with virgin forests and towering old trees. Walking through the vast Woods and strolling under the shady old trees seems to be back to ancient times. Dense branches shed rays of sunshine, and thick dead leaves under their feet were like soft carpets.

The emblem of Wangcun is world-famous. A few years ago, the wood used in the overhaul of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou was all fifteen pits of Chinese fir. The Chinese fir here is slender and thick, even up and down, without thick side branches, which is the first choice for the beams of ancient buildings; The wood is delicate and tough, with rosy color and less hardening, which is favored by users as furniture.

What is even more memorable is that there are hundreds of yew trees in many villages such as Matian and Dalian in Wangcun Town. There are yews of different ages, and there are yews of different ages. The largest yew is nearly one meter in diameter, which is really rare.

Taxus chinensis is a national protected tree species. It is recognized as a rare natural anticancer plant in the world, an ancient tree species left over from the Quaternary Glacier, and has a history of 2.5 million years on the earth. Due to the slow growth rate and poor regeneration ability of Taxus chinensis under natural conditions, there is no large-scale raw material forest base of Taxus chinensis in the world and it is on the verge of extinction. The United Nations explicitly forbids logging. Taxus is named because it grows the same fruit as red beans. Taxus chinensis is an evergreen tree and belongs to shallow-rooted plants. Its taproot is not obvious, its lateral roots are developed, its branches and leaves are luxuriant, its germination is strong, and it is resistant to low temperature and -25℃. There is a big yew tree in Matian village, and its root has arched the footstone of the abandoned old house next to it. It is estimated that this yew is at least 120 years old. Dashan Canyon is a major feature of Huizhou, especially in Li Guang Canyon, which is 3 kilometers away from Wangcun Town. The peculiar Shijiu Gorge is the most distinctive canyon landscape area in Wangcun. The canyon is made of heaven and earth, with a myriad of weather, deep pools all over the valley, and waterfalls in groups, each with its own merits and mystery. It looks like a silver dragon flying, and it sounds like a bead falling from a plate. In rivers and streams, there are many rice-shaped stone mortars, large and small, either shallow or deep, some are round, and some are cow's feet. The white marble moire protruding from the bluestone is lifelike, like birds and beasts, like a landscape painting. These canyon landscapes are extremely rare in southern China. These caves exist in a large area and are vertical, with water chestnuts like knives. There is also a stone mortar canyon in a stream called Dongfang in Dalian Village, Wangcun Town. There are many magical "loach tanks" in the canyon, named after the local people often found loach (commonly known as giant salamander) in them in the 1970s and 1980s. The stream is as clear as jade, the waterfall is as silk, the spring water washes the stone mortar, and the stone mortar leaves a clear spring. Under the perennial impact of spring water, the bluestones on both sides of the canyon are carved into various natural murals shaped like mountains and rivers and animals, which is dizzying. It is estimated that there are at least tens of thousands of stone mortars of different sizes and shapes.
