Yuanjiang River System in the Yangtze River Basin. Ganxigou is a place name in Guizhou Province, which was abolished in 1984. There is a ravine here, which is often in a dry state, and there is only water flow when it rains heavily and the water rises, hence the name. Ganxigou in Songtao County belongs to Yuanjiang River system in the Yangtze River basin. It is the upper reaches of Huayuan River, a tributary of Yuanjiang River and a tributary of Shui Yuan. Originated in Shanmuping, Sanyang District, Lengshuixi Township, northwest of Songtao Miao Autonomous County, it flows through Lengshuixi Township, Dalu Township, Mengqian Town, Jiujiang Township, Dapingchang Town, Liaogao Town, Shichang Township, Changxingbao Town, Mushu Township and Luojia Town from west to east.
