1. The Forbidden City in Beijing, formerly known as the Forbidden City, is located in the center of Beijing's central axis. It was the palace of 24 emperors in China during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is the essence of China's ancient palace architecture in Han Dynasty, an unparalleled architectural masterpiece, and one of the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.

The construction of the Forbidden City in Beijing began in the fourth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty and was completed in the eighteenth year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty. Covering an area of about 720,000 square meters, the building area is about 6,543,800 square meters. Palace buildings are all wooden structures, with yellow glazed tile roofs and blue and white stone bases.
