Zhu Yuanzhang's evaluation
Zhu Yuanzhang was one of the most outstanding monarchs in ancient China. He worked hard in politics all his life and made many achievements.

Emperor Zhu, an official and scholar, hated him because he was a farmer, uneducated and cruel. Lu Xun was extremely disgusted with him, saying that after he changed from a slave to a master, he "killed the Han people and the ancient Bimeng people miserably".

Among the people at the bottom, there are many fans from generation to generation, who think that he is a talented person, fighting corruption and promoting honesty, making decisions for the people, and can yet be regarded as a wise king of generations. Even Kangxi, the conceited king, although his ancestors inherited the country from others, he respected Mao the most among historical figures. When he made six expeditions to the south, he would go to the Ming tombs when he passed Nanjing, and he would also do three kneels and nine knocks.

The contradiction that Zhu Yuanzhang can evaluate is that he is very cruel to officials, almost like a tyrant, but he also has his rare "good governance": First, he is diligent to the emperor, not extravagant and extravagant. Second, anti-corruption will never be soft. The second is to be more tolerant of the bottom people and to enrich the people with one heart.
