History of Panxi Restaurant in Guangzhou
Panxi Restaurant is located in the west of Wuyang City, adjacent to the beautiful Liwan Lake Park. This is/kloc-the hometown of Changhua Garden, the imperial garden of Wang Changlu in the Southern Han Dynasty, more than 0.000 years ago, and it is also the "Litchi Bay" with fragrant white lotus. 1947, Guangdong native Li Wenlun founded a small restaurant full of rural customs in this "Guhuawu". At first, it was a small restaurant with only 40 employees, 200 seats and an area of 400 square meters, which was built on the lotus pond with wood, bamboo and fir bark. The food sold is mainly dishes and snacks based on the local specialty "Pantang Wu Xiu" (lotus root, water chestnut, arrowhead, horseshoe and bamboo shoots). Due to proper management, coupled with the call of suburban authentic suburban dishes such as fresh shrimp sausage, Pantang horseshoe cake, Bazhen bamboo shoot emperor and big fish, it won the public's love and word of mouth gradually spread. 1958, the restaurant was rebuilt with state investment, and resumed business two years later, and was named "Panxi" after a nearby stream.
