Step 1: Open browser history.
First, we need to open the browser history. Different browsers may open history in slightly different ways, but you can usually find the history option in the browser's menu bar or toolbar. For example, in GoogleChrome browser, we can click on the three points in the upper right corner, select the "History" option, or use the shortcut key "Ctrl+H" to open the history.
Step 2: Find the closed webpage.
In the browser history, we can see all the web pages we have visited before. If we accidentally closed the browser before, we can look for closed pages in the history. In general, closed web pages will be displayed at the bottom of the history, and we can scroll down to find them. If you find a webpage you have visited before, you can directly click to restore the webpage history.
Step 3: Use the search function to find the web page.
If we can't find the page we need in history, we can use the search function provided by the browser to find it. In GoogleChrome browser, we can use the shortcut key "Ctrl+F" to open the search box, and then enter the keywords we need to find. The browser will automatically search the pages that contain these keywords in the history and highlight the search results. We can directly click on the webpage in the search results to restore the webpage history.
Step 4: Use the extension program to restore the history of the webpage.
If we can't find the page we need in the browser history, or we need to restore the deleted page, we can use the browser extension program to help us restore the page history. For example, in GoogleChrome browser, we can install the "SessionBuddy" extension program, which can help us restore previously closed tabs and windows, and even restore closed browsers. We only need to open the extension program and select the tab or window that needs to be restored, so that we can quickly retrieve our browsing trajectory.
