Cheng: A figure in the Five Dynasties of Wu, a writer in the Southern Tang Dynasty, and Li Yu, Lu You and Xin Qiji were also called "the four great masters in the Southern Tang Dynasty".

Ji Cheng: a military general in the early Southern Song Dynasty. He participated in the Jingkang Rebellion and later worked for the Song Dynasty. After Song Gaozong ascended the throne, he put down the Huaixi mutiny.

Cheng Bin: Ming Dynasty writer, Tang He, once editor of the Imperial Academy, and author of biography of Conan's satrap, etc.
