In China, the Lisu nationality is a member of 56 ethnic families, which originated from the ancient frontier ethnic groups and is related to the Yi people. Mainly distributed in Nujiang River and Enmeikaijiang River (a tributary of Irrawaddy River), namely the border areas of Yunnan, China, Tibet and Kachin, Myanmar.

The Lisu people in Dechang, Sichuan migrated from Miyi County and settled in Jinsha and Nanshan Township in Dechang after years, with a population of about 7,000-8,000.

They are also good at making various national musical instruments. Bamboo kouxian, also known as "harmonica", "chime", "blow" and "pluck", is a miniature musical instrument that sounds by blowing or pulling the tongue. The carved patterns on the outer tube of bamboo skewers can not only be used for decoration, but also express the feelings of life at any time. So it is the most favorite thing for Lisu women to wear. The production of Zhukouxian depends entirely on the producer's experience and understanding to determine its pitch, timbre and intonation, which contains rich scientific knowledge, is the condensation of the outstanding wisdom of Lisu craftsmen, and has high technical and aesthetic value.

The daily life, productive labor, festivals, weddings and funerals of Lisu people are inseparable from Hulusheng. Lisu women in Dechang like to play strings, while men like to play Hulusheng, mostly self-made five-tube Hulusheng. Most Lisu adult men in Jinsha Township and Nanshan Township of Dechang County can make Hulusheng, and the relationship between teachers and students is family-based and handed down from generation to generation. The melody, timbre and playing skills of Hulusheng are unique, which is a rare treasure in the treasure house of China national musical instruments.

In addition, the intangible cultural heritage of Lisu people in Dechang County is also quite rich and unique. The Lisu people's original songs and dances, costumes, marriage customs, the four seasons, oral strings, Hulusheng, fire grass weaving skills, folk literature, etc. They are the most valuable intangible cultural heritage with national characteristics in this county.

Due to the uniqueness and preciousness of culture, the Lisu people in Dechang successfully declared 1 national, 9 provincial and 4 national Lisu intangible cultural heritage projects.

Nowadays, Jinsha Township and Nanshan Township are also actively building tourism with national characteristics. In addition to the traditional intangible cultural heritage attracting tourists' attention, the introduction of fashion projects and the integration of their own cultural treasures have once again enhanced the taste of Lisu tourism culture and are favored by tourists.
