"Old vines faint crows, small bridges flow, ancient roads are sparse, the sun sets, and heartbroken people are at the end of the world." I think everyone can recite it. What is described here is the scene of Mentougou, and Ma Zhiyuan's former residence is here on the Jingxi Ancient Road. After learning about this, I decided to take a look at the ancient Jingxi Road with a long history. As a commercial road, the ancient road carries a lot of history. Although it is now in ruins, the ancient charm of customs is still there.

This time, I chose a section of Jingxi Ancient Road, starting from Wang Ping Village, passing through Horseshoe Nest, reaching the 18th Plate of Jingxi, and finally ending at the circle gate.

Because the route is not closed-loop, so I chose public transportation, the journey is not far, and I soon arrived at the starting point of Wang Ping Village. Walk along the highway for about one kilometer, cut into the path on the left and walk for about 200 meters. There is a pool of clear water in Lu Yu. Really crystal clear, excited Kaka took pictures.

Continue to walk along the path, but unfortunately the original road was blocked, and I don't know when it was surrounded in front and built an ice waterfall scenic spot. Somehow, the natural environment is public now, and it is a bit unreasonable to charge for it. Forget it, take a shortcut from the path to the main road and continue along the road;

After walking for about half an hour, I began to merge into the ancient road and met frozen water;

I didn't stay long, so I continued on my way to the ice waterfall. Finally, it didn't take long to see the long-lost ice waterfall, which was really spectacular. I came here once when I ran the cross-country race of Jingxi ancient road in summer. It was a waterfall at that time, and it was beautiful.

Playing and taking pictures here, I stayed for a long time before I came here reluctantly. There are two steep slopes in front, and there are special guardrails. I need to pay attention to safety when climbing.

After these two cliffs, the road ahead is relatively smooth, and there is no fork in the road. Don't worry about getting lost. Find a place to stop on the road, have a simple lunch and continue on your way, heading for Huangshigang Village.

After crossing Huangshigang Village, we started to climb, and not far after climbing, we arrived at the famous horseshoe nest institution. It is said that these horseshoe nests were left by horses passing by for years, and they are non-renewable cultural relics. Everyone should take good care of them.

Starting from horseshoe nest, start down the mountain (you can also choose another road along Ma Zhiyuan's former residence to Wang Ping Village), start down the mountain along the 18th plate in Jingxi, go straight, and finally withdraw to the highway along the path through the ladder;

The next step is to continue walking along the expressway, reach the circle gate, end today's hiking trip and go home by car;

Tips: the whole journey 16 km, climbing 650 meters. The route is simple, and the time is reasonably arranged according to your own situation;

Transportation: Take the No.22, No.929, No.000 military platform and No.929 wooden sword at the Apple Orchard subway station, and get off at Wang Ping Village North Station.
