Can be identified. The identification of paper obsolescence mainly depends on which specific raw materials are used in making pulp. Because of the different uses of paper, the raw materials used will be different. Each material has to go through the production of pulp in the early stage of papermaking, and then the pulp is made into paper.
Therefore, during storage or use, each kind of paper will show different oxidation resistance and light resistance due to different raw materials and manufacturing processes. It is precisely because the plant fiber in paper has a time relationship with oxidation and ultraviolet radiation, so when directly identifying paper with naked eyes, the approximate production time of paper can be known by using paper identification reagent according to the purpose of paper and the properties of paper base.
Even if the paper is forged and worn, the appearance of the paper can be restored to the state when it was produced and put into storage. This method is mainly suitable for valuable bills, cultural relics, paintings and historical archives, and belongs to the technical scope that cannot be made public.
