The Dutch windmill town is located in the new lake land of South Holland Province in the west of the Netherlands,15km east of Rotterdam. Located at the intersection of Lake River and Nord River, 1740 established a system consisting of 19 windmills for drainage. Legend has it that during the flood in the15th century, a child sleeping in a cradle drifted here with a kitten, hence the name.
