Introduction to Marvel Comics: Marvel Comics is an American comic giant, as well as DC Comics. It was founded in 1939, and was officially named Marvel Comics in 196 1. It owns Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Raytheon, Hulk, Wolverine and Fantastic Four. At the end of 2008, Walter Disney Company acquired Marvel Entertainment Company for $4.24 billion, and acquired the ownership of most comic characters. 20 10 September, Marvel Comics announced its official Chinese name as "Marvel Comics".
