Hepu County is located in the south of Guangxi, near the Beibu Gulf and the mouth of Nanliuhe River. It is the original port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road, the hometown of Nanzhu in China, and an open coastal county in China. After liberation, Hepu County belonged to South Road of Guangdong Province from 65438 to 0949.
1950 Hepu County was changed to Qinlian District of Guangdong Province.
Hepu County 195 1 year is under the jurisdiction of Qinzhou District, Guangdong Province. In May of the same year 10, Beihai was established in Dongshen Town, Xizhen Town, Gaode Township and Weizhou Township under Hepu County.
Hepu County in 1952 belongs to Qinzhou District, Guangxi. On May 3 1 day of the same year, the northern part of Hepu County was separated into Pubei County.
1953, Qinzhou institution moved to Lianzhou Town, Hepu County. 1955, Qinzhou District was transferred to Guangdong Province and renamed Hepu District, and Hepu County was subordinate to Hepu District.
1958 Hepu District was abolished, and its counties and cities were merged into Zhanjiang District of Guangdong Province, Hepu County was subordinate to Zhanjiang District, and Beihai City and Pubei County were merged into Hepu County.
Beihai Town (county level) was established in June 1959, and Pubei County was re-established in June 1965, both belonging to Qinzhou District, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
