The Historical Evolution of Jinshan Temple in Kaijiang
Jinshan Temple was built in Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty, but it was not destroyed by a weapon in Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty. According to documents and temple inscriptions, Jinshan Temple was built in Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty, and was called Garan Temple in ancient times. In the sixth year of Ming Dynasty (1496), Zheng De was destroyed by a mutiny. During the reign of Kang Gan in Qing Dynasty, Master De 'an raised funds for reconstruction and expansion, and disciple Puji raised funds to carve Buddhist scriptures and became a Buddhist temple.
