Jiangling county, which belongs to Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, is located in the south-central part of Hubei Province, in the west of Jianghan Plain, on the north bank of Jingjiang reach of the Yangtze River, bordering Jianli City and Qianjiang City in the east, Gongan County across the river in the west, Shishou City in the south and Shashi District in Jingzhou City in the north. The total area is 1048.74 square kilometers, and the county is saddle-shaped.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Jiangling belonged to Jingzhou area (Jingzhou Administrative Office). 1On September 29th, 1994, Jingzhou area, Shashi City and jiangling county were abolished, and Jingsha City was established (1renamed Jingzhou City in February, 1996) to administer Jingzhou, Shashi and Jiangling.
The original Jiangling County was divided into three parts, and the main part was included in Jingzhou District. The new Jiangling District governs nine towns, namely Hao Xue, Guanyindang, Cenhe, Zishi, Baima Temple, Shagang and Puji, and two townships, Majiacun and Qinshi, in jiangling county. The District People's Government is located in Haoxue Town.

Longyuanhu Park: Located between Jiangling Avenue and Longqiao Road, it is adjacent to the planned residential area in the east and Jingjiang levee in the west, covering an area of 340,000 square meters, of which the water area is 2 1 10,000 square meters. It faces the Yangtze River in the west and Tieniuji Park diagonally. It is located at the junction of Jiangling Avenue and Binjiang Avenue. It is a naturally formed wet area, *** 18.3 hectares. Blue Star Island: Formerly known as Nanxingzhou, it was a silted-up Jiangzhou in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River more than 200 years ago. At the end of 1980s, due to the need of flood control, all immigrants are now making protective use of it. Blue Star Island is about 30 kilometers away from Jingzhou City. After the Yangtze River flows through here, it becomes the Jingjiang section of Jiuqu 18 Bay, and the flow rate slows down, forming this island over time.
