So, Ke Liang chose an auspicious day to start work. When digging the tower foundation, I found an ancient porcelain bottle with a copper coin in it. Liang Yan is like a treasure. He turned the bottle upside down, but he couldn't take out the copper coins. He looked into the bottle through the sunshine and saw the words "auspicious symbol, treasure" cast on the copper coin. Later, the tower was named after "Xiang Fu".
After several Spring and Autumn Periods, the Xiangfu Pagoda will be built soon. Who knows that when the spire was built, there was a strong wind and heavy rain, and the masonry of the spire was beaten to pieces. After the storm, the construction began to rebuild and the masonry collapsed again. Ke Liang ordered people to build a shed on the mountain, prepared a lot of things to sacrifice to the land god, and then continued to rebuild.
Soon the spire collapsed again. ...
Decades later, Zhou Guanghao, a native of Tushi (now Taoxi), started work again and rebuilt the spire.
Legend has it that when Zhou Guanghao was a child, he followed his maid-in-waiting to the mountain one day to see the tower being built. At that time, Ke Liang was giving a big sacrifice to the land god, and the mountain was very lively. Jinliang found a woman holding a clever child in the crowd, very cute, so she asked the woman the name and life experience of the child, and picked up a cake on the plate and gave it to her. Gently pick shook his head. Give him another piece and he won't accept it. Jinliang simply picked up the whole cake for him to choose from. He reached for the top piece of cake and ate it. Later generations will attach Zhou Guanghao's childhood top cake to the perfection of the spire in his later years.
During the Wanli period, Zhou Guanghao resigned and lived in seclusion in Xiaxia. Seeing that the Xiangfu Tower collapsed and was broken, he called the neighbor squire to discuss the repair of the tower.
Rebuilding the spire is not easy. Bricks are just piled up like hills, and construction is more difficult in the cold winter of1February. Seeing this, Zhou Guanghao has a premonition that the rainy season is coming, and he is thinking of a good way to catch up with the work. He asked his servants to tell people everywhere that they would fly bricks at the spire at a certain time on a certain day and then pay attention to watch. The news spread like wildfire and soon reached the neighboring village.
As soon as the date comes, all the people in the village flock to Guishan like a flood. Zhou Guanghao told his servant to stand at the intersection and announced to everyone that Master Zhou had an appointment. Anyone who watches flying bricks must take two bricks up the mountain from the foot of the mountain. Hearing this, everyone rushed to the brick pile and rushed to get the bricks.
With the passage of time, thousands of people climbed to the top of Guishan Mountain. It is time. Nothing happened. Everyone is looking around. At this time, Zhou Guanghao strode into the middle of the crowd, talking and laughing, and said to everyone, "Here comes the flying brick." Everyone was dumbfounded and looked at each other. Pointing at the bricks on the mountain, Guangqiao said, "Didn't these bricks fly at the foot of the mountain in the morning?" It suddenly dawned on everyone that Zhou Duye was clever.
Later, the construction was stepped up and the steeple was finally built before spring. Zhou Guanghao personally wrote an inscription for Xiangfuta. After the completion of Xiangfu Tower, there are many legends about the shadow of the tower.
Legend has it that the tower shadow is wonderful. In the nearby river or the distant Lianjiang River, there used to be upright and upside down, sometimes as big as a flower tube, sometimes blurred into a long picture, and sometimes many layers could be counted. Tower shadows have appeared in wells and even in people's basins.
Some people say that the Xiangfu Tower is the "king of the tower". When the tower shadows meet, the auspicious tower disappears, and the other tower shadows do not leave.
Some of these legends can be explained from the special geographical location and the formation of mirage, and more because of people's good wishes.
