Langfang with a long history
Speaking of Langfang, Hebei, it may stay in the minds of most people. It is the story of "Langfang Victory" that happened when the Boxer Rebellion defeated Eight-Nation Alliance in 1900. Yes, the deeds of the Boxer Rebellion are really admirable. The great powers invaded China, but the elite Qing army disappeared without a trace. It was the Boxer Rebellion that fought bloody battles with Eight-Nation Alliance, completely defeated Eight-Nation Alliance and made it flee to Tianjin, which made great contributions to the modern history of our country.

Now, the statue of Boxer fighters is also engraved on the East Outer Ring Road in Langfang. Unfortunately, Langfang No.2 Middle School and Motorcycle Building were both built in Daguanzhuang, the battlefield site of that year, with no trace of history. But if you go to Langfang Museum, you can also pay tribute to the martyrs from a large number of historical materials.

Actually Langfang has a long history. According to the study of unearthed cultural relics, the ancestors of Langfang people lived and worked on this land in 4300 BC, creating and continuing human civilization. According to historical records, 4,000 years ago, "Huangdi ruled the world, and Anxu established the world", which is today's Anci District of Langfang City. Langfang was sealed by the Yan State in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It belonged to Yuyang County and Yangguang County in the Qin Dynasty, Youzhou and Jizhou in the Han and Tang Dynasties, Hebei East Road in the Song Dynasty, Nanjing Road in Liaoning Province in the Liao Dynasty, Zhongshu Province in the Yuan Dynasty, Shuntianfu in the Ming Dynasty and Zhili in the Qing Dynasty. During the Yongzheng period, there were four flying tigers halls in Shuntianfu, six counties south of Anci in Langfang belonged to Beijing South Road, and Sanhe and Xianghe counties belonged to beijing east road. The Republic of China belongs to the Jingzhao Special Zone. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Langfang County and today's Langfang City came into being.

According to legend, there was an assistant minister named Lv Duan in the early Song Dynasty. His home is now in Dong 'an Village. Because of his high official position, all the houses are dazzling. People at that time called his home "assistant minister's room". After a long time, people felt a little uncomfortable shouting, so they called it "Langfang" directly. When the railway was built in the late Qing Dynasty, some people wrote the name of the station as "Langfang" and people called it Langfang.

To the south of Anci District, Langfang City, there is an ancient town of Fangsheng by the Zhong Ting River, which is a national AAA-level tourist attraction. Because the waters of the ancient town are located in the east of Baiyangdian Lake, it is also called Dongdian. According to legend, Emperor Qianlong made a private visit incognito, leaving an imperial edict that "the fragrance of water lotus will last forever" in Fangsheng. There is a folk saying that "Suzhou and Hangzhou are in the south and Fang Sheng is in the north". The famous scenic spots in Fangsheng Ancient Town are: Opera House, Dabei Temple, Wenchang Pavilion, Zhangjia Courtyard and Wang Jia Courtyard. Among them, the "Zhangjia Courtyard" is divided into four quadrangles, and the two courtyards on the west side are Qing-style wooden hard mountain houses; The two houses on the east side are European-style buildings, with Yuanyang Hall in the middle, which is one hall and four rooms. All four yards have small doors and corridors. The big house has basically kept its original appearance. After liberation, the Zhangjia Courtyard has been used as an ancient building for outdoor shooting for many times by film and television works, such as the movie Private Zhang Ga, the TV series Blood Splashed at Golden Gate, Swallow and Li San, and Long-billed Copper Pot.

The Golden Gate Site is located in Hongmiao Village, Xianghe County. Built in the thirty-seventh year of Qianlong, there is a poem entitled "Imperial Golden Gate" written by Qianlong. The Golden Gate Bridge is built at the intersection of the North Canal and the Jianhe River in Qinglong Bay. The project is magnificent and has great flood discharge and water storage functions. Here, you can see the beautifully carved private poem tablet of Qianlong. At the same time, you can also enjoy the well-preserved south and north gates, and you can learn more about the local canal history and water conservancy history.

In Langfang, there are many classic historical stories, such as Yang's attack on Mocha Port and Liaobing Shengli Port, when the big factory was renamed Royal Racecourse, and Wen 'an County. In order to commemorate the troubled times, Liu Bang took the name of "governing the country with courtesy and keeping the country safe".

In a word, there are too many historical sites in Langfang. If you want to know more about them, you might as well visit them yourself. If it's fate, I can also be a tour guide to show you around.
