Mushroom cultivation was once in full swing.
Many years ago, Biyang County, Henan Province was recognized by China Edible Fungi Association as one of the top ten edible fungi production base counties in China. It is the largest mushroom distribution center in the north of the Yangtze River, and its flowers have the reputation of "the best in the world".
Talking about the development history of Biyang mushrooms, Yu Zongben, vice president of Biyang Edible Fungi Association, is very interested. He said that in the early 1990s, the development of agricultural economy in Biyang County was very weak, and industries such as raising chickens and ducks were far from forming a scale. Farmers mainly grow traditional crops such as wheat, corn and soybeans, and their income growth is relatively slow. At that time, under the leadership of the four major teams in Biyang County, we were determined to find a way to take off the economy.
