Anyang has a history of 3000 years and is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. Anyang is located in the north shore plain of the western section of the lower Yellow River, with hilly terrain in the west and alluvial plain in the middle and east. The ancient rivers are among them, leaving the footprints of human activities 20,000 years ago, and today's Paleolithic "Xiaonanhai Culture" is here.
Anyang, Henan Province is an ancient cultural city with a history of more than 3,000 years. It is the earliest recorded ancient capital in China and a witness of Chinese civilization. Oracle Bone Inscriptions, the earliest written language used by Chinese civilization, was discovered here, and the world's largest bronze ware, the stepmother Wu Dafang Ding (formerly known as Simuwu Dafang Ding), was also unearthed here. As early as more than 3,300 years ago, King Pan Geng of the Shang Dynasty moved the capital to Yin until the Western Zhou Dynasty destroyed the Shang Dynasty. During this period, he moved to eight generations and twelve kings for 273 years. It was called Yindu in history. During this period, agriculture, handicrafts, commerce and culture here have developed greatly and become the political, economic and cultural center in the late Shang Dynasty. At the same time, Yindu is also the first capital in China history that has a clear urban scope and has been fixed in one place for a long time.
On the map of China, Anyang is bounded by the majestic Taihang Mountain in the west. Eight hundred Li Taihang is mysterious and beautiful, hiding countless ancient fairy tales. A river originating from Taihang Mountain passes through Anyang City, which is the Huanshui recorded in ancient Oracle Bone Inscriptions. At the same time, the Yin Ruins in Anyang are recognized by the world as the earliest ruins of the capital that can be determined in China today, so they have the reputation of "Imperial Capital of Huanshui", "Old Capital of Yin Merchants" and "Capital of People".
