Why is this area called Xiaohe River? This has to start with "Wanquan Fishing", one of the eight scenic spots in Shengjing. At that time, when it passed a section of the present Cultural Road, it was called "Wuli River", which means "there is a river five miles south of Shengjing City". 1924, Zhang named the central street of Dadong New Town Chang 'an Street (now Chang 'an Road), and made unified planning for the streets and roads of Dadong New Town.
