Who is the mysterious strategy in Li Bai's history?
Wang Xuance, the envoy of Tang Dynasty, is the historical prototype of Li Bai's Xuance. There is no relevant record about the year when Wang Xuance was born, except that he served as Huangshui county magistrate in Rongzhou in his early years.

In the seventeenth year of Emperor Taizong, Li Shimin was appointed as an assistant envoy, and accompanied the garrison Li Yibiao and others to escort the Vatican envoys home. Shortly after he was escorted back to China, he was sent to Tianzhu by Li Shimin as a special envoy. This trip to Tianzhu made his legend.

Wang Xuance's achievements.

In 647, Wang Xuance was promoted to ambassador plenipotentiary, leading a mission to Tianzhu. In 648, Wang Xuance arrived in Zhongtianzhu, which coincided with the death of King Jerzy. A courtier named Arona Shun took the opportunity to usurp the throne, causing chaos in the Middle Tianzhu, and all members of the mission were captured or even killed. After Wang Xuance fled, he borrowed Tubo 1 0,200 troops and Nipolo's more than 7,000 troops to attack Zhongtianzhu and capture Arona Shun. In 649, Wang Xuance returned to Datang with Aaron Nashun.

Later, Wang Xuance went to Tianzhu twice. Wang Xuance made four missions to Tianzhu, which made great contributions to opening up the Silk Road and brought Tianzhu's advanced sugar-making method back to the Tang Dynasty. Wang Xuance recorded what he saw and heard in the journey into a book, A Journey to the Middle Tianzhu.
