Progressive: overthrew the Qing Dynasty, ended China's autocratic monarchy for thousands of years, established the Republic of China, and promulgated the first interim constitution in China's history, which enabled the people to obtain partial democratic rights and initiated a modern national democratic revolution in a complete sense.

Limitations: The Revolution of 1911 ended in compromise with the old forces, and did not fundamentally change the nature of China's semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. The people of China are still living in poverty, backwardness, division, turmoil and chaos.
