After the establishment of Sheng Da Cotton Mill, due to the government's care and half of the government's funds, as well as the abundant local cotton, good quality, low labor force and open market, it gained rich profits after half a year of establishment, and at the same time, it occupied an advantage in the competition with foreign businessmen and played a role in resisting foreign aggression. In the eyes of many entrepreneurs, this change began to emulate the practice of saving the country by industry, which made China's industry develop well at that time.

With the constant change of domestic structure, Sheng Da cotton mill needs more and more goods while expanding. In order to solve some follow-up problems, he founded Tonghai Reclamation Company at 1900. Guangsheng Oil Squeezing Company was established in1901; Establish Daxing flour mill. Of course, there are more than a dozen companies such as Lvsi Salt Company and Lvsi Fishery Company. In a word, he devoted his whole life to the establishment of China industry.
