Historical details of Chongfu Temple
Chongfu Temple has a long history. Although there is a record in the Yongle Bell in the Ming Dynasty that "the lower hall of Maijishan was built in the previous dynasty", the lotus pillar can definitely prove that it was built before the Tang Dynasty. Gundam 1978, the original Buddhist temple caught fire. During the demolition process, it was found that many foundation bricks were engraved with the word "Hongdao". It can be inferred that Chongfu Temple was built in Hongdao period of Tang Gaozong at the latest and has a long history. According to "Mysterious Pagoda Monument", Duanfu, a famous monk in China, became a monk in Chongfu Temple when he was a teenager, and finally achieved great success. It can be seen that Chongfu Temple was quite large at that time. Hongdao has a history of 1300 years. In the meantime, it will be repaired and rebuilt many times. According to the records of Zhong in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and stone tablets in Qing Dynasty, the temple was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty (1588), 17th year of Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1678), 54th year of Qianlong (1789) and 16th year of Jiaqing (1865438+) respectively.

As for the construction time of Xinglin Temple and Chenghuang Temple, neither the clock nor the stone tablet mentioned it. It can be inferred that these two temples were built after Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty.

Since the late Qing dynasty, the national situation has gradually declined, and Chongfu Temple has also begun to decline. During the Republic of China, the Kuomintang wounded entered Chongfu Temple from 28 to 37 years (1938- 1948). After liberation, people became communes 1958. During the Great Leap Forward, Jiezi Primary School moved to Chongfu Temple. 1959, Agricultural Middle School occupies Wang Yao Store, 196 1, and Jiezi Middle School occupies Xinglin Temple. Until 1975, primary and secondary schools were separated and the newly established schools moved away. Before and after the Cultural Revolution, except for the Chenghuang Temple, other temples in Chongfu Temple were demolished, and many tall pines and cypresses were cut down, leaving behind the ruins of a thousand-year-old temple. 1977 due to the construction of the commune compound, the rare thousand-year-old tree Pinus bungeana in Nanchuan village was cut down by 9 shares!
