Jiming Mountain, at an altitude of 1 190 meters, is located in the northwest of Huailai County, 50 kilometers away from Beijing10, on the north bank of Yanghe River and on the left side of National Highway10. According to Zhu, "He killed Daiwang in the Summer Palace and swallowed Daiwang's land. Xiangzi married Daiwang's sister. When his sister replaced his wife, he said, "Dai is dead, where am I going?" "He committed suicide by grinding in the mountains. It represents Wang Lingzhi and is a holy place, because its mountain is called Moshan. There are pheasants singing every night in the temple, so it is also called "Chicken Mountain". According to the ancient tablet in the forty-sixth year of Qianlong (178 1), "Emperor Taizong lived in the tomb, heard the cock crow and ordered him to announce the dawn. "
Ji Ming Postal City, located at the foot of Jiming Mountain, was built in the 18th year of Yongle in Ming Dynasty (1420), so it was named after the mountain. In the forty-second year of Jiajing (1563), the castle was destroyed by war. In the fourth year of Qin Long (1570), the commander Elvis Presley tried to supervise the service. He built four walls with bricks, with a circumference of 2330 meters and a height of 1 1.7 meters. In the third year of Qing dynasty (1738), the four walls and the east and west gates were rebuilt, and stone dams were built to protect the city.
Ji Ming Post Office was built in Yuan Dynasty. 12 19 Genghis Khan set up a "post red" on the western expedition road. In the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420), Ji Ming Post was re-expanded, becoming the largest post station for Xuanhua Prefecture to enter Beijing. It was not until 19 13 that the Beiyang government announced "abolishing the post station and opening the postal service" that the ancient post station Jiming Post withdrew from the historical stage. Ji Ming Post once occupied an important position in the postal history of China, and its special geographical position made it a unique post. It is the largest, most complete and best-preserved ancient post station in China.
Because Ji Ming Post is located in the main traffic road, it is not only a military and civilian post station, but also a place where businessmen gather. At that time, Ji Ming Post was prosperous in business and culture. On both sides of the street, there are many shops and businesses are booming. During the reign of Shi Zaiqing and Kangxi, there were 250 stationers, 45 post-men, 82 post-horses, 44 horses and 3200 taels of silver. There are post-Chengbu, general mansion, mansion, stable, theater and shops in the city. According to the inscription in Yicheng, there are 6 pawn shops, 9 businesses, 4 oil mills, tea houses, carriage shops and many temples in the post. Yongning Temple, the earliest building in Yicheng, is more than 800 years ago. It can be seen from the scale and layout of temples that Ji Ming Post is a city where Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism gather together.
