History of administrative division changes in Xinye County;

After the liberation of Xinye County, the administrative divisions have changed many times.

1 and 1947, the county has six districts, 158 townships and 7 sub-district offices.

3. The People's Commune was founded in August, 1958. People's commune is a complete political and social system. There are 9 people's communes in the county, with 142 production brigades under its jurisdiction.

5.1April, 975, five communes were added, namely, Qiangaomiao, Shanggang, Wangzhuang, Fan Ji and Shangshang, making the county 14 communes (including shipping communes) and 8 towns.

Xinye is 300 kilometers away from Zhengzhou, Xi and Wuhan, 60 kilometers away from Nanyang and Xiangyang Airport, 4 kilometers away from Zhengwan High-speed Railway Station/KLOC-0, and 30 kilometers away from Liu Jiao and Ningxi Railway. Xinye is rich in water resources, with eight competing rivers, including Tanghe River, Baihe River, Turbulent River and Diaohe River. Nearly three-quarters of the surface water in Nanyang leaves the country through Xinye, which is rich in water resources.
