Another way of saying it is that Hui 'an is the distribution center of ancient agarwood in Vietnam, so the agarwood exported here is called Hui 'an God.
So, how to distinguish Huian agarwood, Sin Chew God and Vietnamese agarwood? Han Xiangxiang and you know the difference between Huian agarwood and Xingzhou agarwood and Vietnamese agarwood.
1. What's the difference between Huian agarwood and Xingzhou agarwood?
Generally speaking, the fragrance of "Huian agarwood" is cool, sweet and transparent. Some of them contain fruits or flowers, and their taste is silky. Its raw materials are usually fragile and mainly smoked, which is not suitable for carving.
"Xianzhou agarwood" has a mellow flavor, sweet but not cold, and the raw materials are peaceful and mature.
Smoked and burned, it feels like a flavor.
Compared with Huian agarwood, the material of Xingzhou agarwood can be used as carving material.
At present, the relatively open agarwood producing areas are mainly distributed in China, Hainan, Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia Islands and other Southeast Asian regions.
According to the lasting feeling of agarwood, agarwood products are divided into "Huian agarwood" and "Xingzhou agarwood".
The main producing areas of "Huian Aquilaria Resinatum" are distributed in China, Hainan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia's West Peninsula and other places.
From the northeast of the map to Malaysia and the southwest to East Timor, the agarwood output is "Sin Chew agarwood".
Second, Vietnamese agarwood and Huian ginseng
Vietnam Huian is a translated name. Hui 'an is an ancient city in central Vietnam and an export city of agarwood. It is controlled by Vietnam and sold by the government. So the price is higher than other regions. Some of the Vietnamese ginseng sold in Taiwan Province Province are fake agarwood from other regions.
The agarwood produced in Vietnam has a fragrant smell, a little flower-like fragrance and a faint natural coolness, and is generally rated as the first class.
The so-called "Huian agarwood" does not mean the agarwood produced by Huian. Historically, Huian may indeed produce agarwood, and Huian is an export distribution center in the history of agarwood.
In the history of Vietnam, Huian is an international seaport metropolis.
In Vietnam, people simply don't distinguish between Hui 'an agarwood, Nha Trang agarwood and laterite agarwood. People in the industry only price according to dead materials, live materials, tastes and oil content. Of course, this price will be arbitrary.
Therefore, the classification of Hui 'an, Nha Trang, Cambodia and Laos belongs to "commercial classification". For example, if the sweetness, coolness and clarity of agarwood reach a certain purity, the merchants will be classified as "Nha Trang" from "Huian".
