A Brief Introduction to Wang Changling's Life How did Wang Changling die?
Many outstanding poets emerged in the Tang Dynasty, among which Wang Changling has always been a mysterious figure. Known as "the poet's son of heaven" and "the master of seven words", Wang Changling had a bumpy life and a hard career, but left many wonderful poems such as "Going to Fort" and "Joining the Army" to the world. There are very few records about him in his life and historical materials, so we can't know many details about him. What is the fate of Wang Changling's life?

Wang Changling was born in 698 AD, and there have been different opinions about his native place. Tang Xinshu said he was from Jiangning, Tang Jiushu said he was from Jingzhao, and Tang Caizhuan said he was from Taiyuan. There seems to be really little record about him. A famous frontier poet in Tang Dynasty, he is famous for his frontier poems. His poems are vigorous, elegant and expressive. Among his poems, frontier fortress poems are the first and in my heart forever's poems are the second. The poem is concise, vivid and implicit, and the scene is consistent, which gives people infinite reverie and deserves to be called "the master of seven words" Wang Changling was born in poverty and made a living by farming in his early years. He loved literature and poetry since childhood, studied hard and showed extraordinary talent. In order to make a difference, he began to study in Songshan at the age of 23 in 720 AD. During this time, he studied hard and learned a lot of knowledge, which laid the foundation for him to write ten famous articles in the future. In 723 AD, Wang Changling gained a lot in his three-year study career and became a student with lofty ideals and ambitions. He wanted to be appreciated by others, so he dropped out of school and moved to Hedong Bingzhou and Luzhou. In 724 AD, Wang Changling, then 27 years old, went to Helong and Yumenguan and came to the frontier fortress. Those famous frontier poems were written at this time.

In 726 AD, 29-year-old Wang Changling spent enough time outside, so he went to Jingzhao again and lived in seclusion here to see how to go on in his next life. God still cares about him. In 727, 30-year-old Wang Changling became a scholar and a court official. Wang Changling was awarded the post of secretary of the provincial school, and later he was promoted to a learned man with his outstanding talents, and later he was transferred to Surabaya County Commandant. In the feudal society of China, where hidden rules were rampant, Wang Changling, who had no one in the DPRK, had a rough life. However, he finally broke Tianwei and was banished to Lingnan. Later, he was transferred to Jiangning as a local official and never returned to Beijing. During his time as a secretary and school bookkeeper, this job did not bring him brilliant experience, nor did it make him go higher. On the contrary, he made many like-minded friends, such as Li Bai, Gao Shi, Wang Wei, Wang Zhihuan, Cen Can and other famous poets. They learned from each other, which improved Wang Changling's poetic attainments.

Wang Changling was demoted as a dragon symbol in his official career. During that time, he was lucky enough to meet Li Bai. When Li Bai learned this, he wrote a poem to comfort Wang Changling. This poem is known as "I heard that Wang Changling moved to Longbiaoyao and sent it here"; Wang Changling left Beijing for Jiangning Chengren. At this time, he already knew the famous poet Cen Can. Cen Can wrote a poem "Send Wang Changling to Jiangning", and Wang Changling also wrote a poem "Farewell". It can be seen that Wang Changling has a wide range of friends and a deep friendship with friends. It would be nice to make friends with him. A few years later, in 755 AD, the Anshi Rebellion broke out and Tang Xuanzong fled to Chengdu. Prince Hengli proclaimed himself emperor in Lingwu, and was demoted as a dragon watch guard. Seeing the chaos in the world, Wang Changling felt that the emperor who was busy fleeing should not have much energy to manage these northern officials. After some careful consideration, he decided to leave Long Biao and find friends to take refuge in. Wang Changling's move was quite bold. He ignored the royal majesty and fled without permission, which has violated the law. And at that time, everyone wanted to avoid it, so he chose to face the difficulties. If he wants to find a place to escape the chaos, why not leave the Dragon Label in a remote place?

According to relevant historical records, Wang Changling's departure from Longbiao may be related to Wang Yong. In principle, a loyal minister, after such a thing happened, should first think of the safety of the monarch. Even if he wants to leave Longbiao, his best choice should be to go north to Sichuan and then go to Lingwu to go to court. However, he didn't do it. His last choice was to come to Haozhou, which was consistent with Wang Yongjun's itinerary and route against the imperial court. At that time, Wang Yong had his good friend Li Bai in the army, while Wang Yong was recruiting new soldiers.

It is a crime for Wang Changling to leave the exile without permission. He is also a famous poet. It is not easy to settle down in Haozhou. Soon, he went to Haozhou privately and was discovered by local secretariat Lu Qiuxiao. In addition, Lu Qiuxiao was jealous of Wang Changling's talent and was afraid that Wang Changling would show his talents in the area under his jurisdiction and threaten his official position, so he killed Wang Changling. After Wang Changling was killed by Lu Qiuxiao, the secretariat of Bozhou, the matter was made public, attracting countless people to denounce him as inhuman and that he himself had been brought to justice. However, both people in the Tang Dynasty and today's literary lovers feel extremely sorry for Wang Changling's death.
